During one week in November 2024, I will be Composer in Residence at VICC, the Visby International Composer’s Center. I look forward to returning to the island where I studied composition for two formative years in my twenties. Coming back over 20 years later is an emotional journey, and I hope it will also be a highly creative stay. I am especially excited to make new connections with other international composers residing at the center. VICC is located in the same building as the Gotland School of Musical Composition, where I spent those two unforgettable years.
