Composer’s note
This is the third piece in the Intermezzo series originally written for piano. It is a follow up to its predecessor Intermezzo #2 but this time in a major key. Hence the title, it’s reminiscent of the previous piece. To me it also reminds of the piano music that is so common these days, the one in the gray zone between classical and pop music. Just like with Intermezzo #2 I also wrote a version for flute and piano.
